During the month of June, Trinity Metro and the City of Fort Worth conducted a survey seeking input to develop a transit-oriented development (TOD) plan to design a more connected, accessible, and thriving East Lancaster Avenue corridor through the implementation of local high-capacity transit and surrounding economic development.
On June 1, Trinity Metro expanded the Crowley ZIPZONE service area and extended its hours of operation. To reflect the new service area of Crowley, Everman and parts of south Fort Worth, this ZIPZONE was renamed to the South Tarrant ZIPZONE.
On June 19, Trinity Metro joined Ms. Opal Lee on her annual 2.5-mile walk to recognize Juneteenth as a national holiday.
