Local Attractions Guide

Local Attractions Guide. Trinity Metro Blog.

Re-open Fort Worth Responsibly Badge. Trinity Metro Blog,Trinity Metro joined many local businesses in taking a voluntary commitment to follow best practices in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The commitment created by Visit Fort Worth in partnership with the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fort Worth encourages restaurants, hotels, cultural institutions and businesses of any kind to take preventive steps to help stop the spread of the disease to the best of their ability.

Since the COVID-19 crisis began, Trinity Metro has been implementing new safety measures to keep its employees and customers safe and healthy. Some of these measures include the installation of driver barriers that allow customers to board buses at the front door and validate or purchase their tickets safely. We have also enhanced the cleaning of all high-touch areas and reduced the capacity of our vehicles to 35%. Additionally, Trinity Metro is following state and local ordinances by requiring all of its employees and customers to use face coverings when on board all Trinity Metro vehicles and when visiting any Trinity Metro facility.

As part of our commitment to re-opening Fort Worth responsibly, we want to encourage you to support and visit local businesses. If you are looking for destinations to visit this summer, here is a guide of local attractions that are open and committed to keeping its visitors safe and healthy. We have also provided directions to use Trinity Metro services to get there.

Tips to stay healthy

We encourage everyone to observe the following tips to stay healthy when visiting local businesses:

→ Wash your hands regularly. → Use hand sanitizer, especially after opening doors or touching handrails.
→ Make reservations ahead of time. Space may be limited. → Give a friendly Texas wave instead of a handshake.
→ Keep 6 feet from neighbors when waiting in lines. → Check attraction websites for new business hours and ticketing guidelines.
→ Visit your hotel website for new check-in procedures. → Cough or sneeze into your elbow, not hands.
→ If you are sick, stay home.  → Wear a face covering.
→ Respect others.
