TRINITY METRO, FORT WORTH MAYOR MATTIE PARKER TO OFFER FIRST-LOOK AT “LA LINEA ROSA,” TRINITY METRO’S LATEST ‘COLOR LINE,’ LAUNCHING WITH HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

The three vibrant bus designs honor Hispanic culture, “introduce people to places they may not otherwise discover,” said Andreski

On Tuesday, Sept. 15, concurrent with Hispanic Heritage Month, Trinity Metro will begin offering service to the public on “La Linea Rosa” – three visually striking, Texas artist-designed buses that connect Downtown Fort Worth with three of the city’s most vibrant shopping, dining, and cultural destinations and neighborhoods: Near Southside, La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth, and Hemphill Street corridor.

“Great transit has the power to bring a community closer together and introduce people to places they may not otherwise discover. La Linea Rosa demonstrates how Trinity Metro is doing more than connecting people to places; we are amplifying the businesses, neighborhoods, and destinations that make our city great. It’s an honor to shine a spotlight on the unique characteristics of Near Southside, Hemphill, and La Gran Plaza,” said Richard Andreski, President and Chief Executive Officer, Trinity Metro.

The morning before launch, media and the public are invited to a first-look of the buses and free community celebration at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth.  In the evening, at 7 p.m., Fort Worth City Hall will set its own building awash with pink lighting to celebrate the launch of La Linea Rosa.
