(FORT WORTH, TEXAS) Dec. 18, 2025 — Due to anticipated heavy holiday-related ridership this weekend, Trinity Metro TEXRail will operate three additional westbound trains from Grapevine/Main Street Station to Fort Worth T&P Station on Saturday evening, Dec. 20, 2025.
More than 8,000 rides were recorded on TEXRail during its regular operation on the previous Saturday (Dec. 13).
Trinity Metro Chief Operating Officer Reed Lanham said these additional trains were in response to the ridership boost that results from the heightened attendance at popular attractions and activities associated with the Christmas Capital of Texas.
“Trinity Metro is committed to delivering on its promise of providing safe, simple, and innovative mobility solutions for our community,” Lanham said. “Providing extra trains will allow our passengers greater comfort on their ride into downtown Fort Worth. We recognized the need to accommodate more riders and we adjusted accordingly.”
The westbound TEXRail schedule of departures from Grapevine/Main Street Station will be expanded as follows:
- New train at 8:20 p.m.
