Trinity Metro Debuts New Cowtown Visitor Shuttles for International Soccer Match Tourists and Local Residents This Summer

Shuttles offer easy access to popular North Texas attractions such as Buc-ee’s, Six Flags, and the Fort Worth Zoo on non-matchdays

FORT WORTH, Texas (June 15, 2026) — Starting today, Trinity Metro will launch the new Cowtown Visitor Shuttles to make it easier for international soccer match tourists and locals to reach many of North Texas’ most popular visitor destinations without worrying about traffic, parking or navigating unfamiliar roads.

Operating on non-matchdays through Sunday, July 12, the premium coach service was created for residents and visitors looking to experience more of what Fort Worth and the surrounding region have to offer. Three dedicated routes connect customers with major entertainment, shopping, and family destinations while providing convenient connections to Trinity Metro’s broader transit network.

The three Cowtown Visitor Shuttle routes will include:

  • Arlington Entertainment to allow residents and visitors to catch a Texas Rangers baseball game, spend the afternoon riding roller coasters at Six Flags Over Texas, or visit the Fort Worth Stockyards.
  • Fort Worth Shopping to transport residents and visitors who want to experience the local Buc-ee’s or browse the shops at Tanger Outlets.
  • Zoo and Botanic Gardens to visit the nationally acclaimed Fort Worth Zoo or stroll through the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

“The Cowtown Visitor Shuttles are about helping people spend less time fighting traffic and more time enjoying the experience,” said Reed Lanham, Chief Operating Officer of Trinity Metro. “Whether you’re planning a day at the zoo, an afternoon of shopping or an evening at the ballpark, we’re providing an easy way for international visitors and our local residents to explore North Texas.”

Routes operate every 15-30 minutes, giving customers flexibility to build their own itinerary and travel throughout the day.

All-day passes are available for $10 on the Zoo and Botanic Gardens route and $20 on the Arlington Entertainment and Fort Worth Shopping routes. Passes include unlimited transfers on Trinity Metro buses, TEXRail and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) in Tarrant County, making it easy to connect throughout Fort Worth and beyond.

With every route serving Fort Worth Central Station, customers can seamlessly travel between attractions and destinations across Trinity Metro’s network.

“We especially want to invite our local residents to experience our new Cowtown Visitor Shuttles,” Rich Andreski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Metro. “These shuttles are the absolute easiest way to get around without the hassle of parking. If you’ve never ridden with us before, this is the perfect time to give Trinity Metro a try.”

Trinity Metro has finalized months of extensive preparations, adding system capacity, expanding services, and deploying dedicated customer support teams for the duration of the global soccer tournament.
