The State Fair of Texas has officially started! You’ll have more money for corny dogs when you skip parking and try transit on your visit to see Big Tex. Head eastbound to the fairground on TRE to Victory Station to connect to the DART Green Line straight to Fair Park. TRE will operate 7 days a week during the fair.

TONIGHT! There is no better summer tradition than Friday on the Green at Fort Worth’s Near Southside and there is no better way to get to Magnolia Green for the show than on public transportation. From downtown, ride bus route 1 to Hemphill and Oleander for this free event.

 

Through 6/10/18 – Downtown is easy to explore while attending A-Kon 29. Bus routes 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 14, 15, 46 and Molly the Trolley all stop at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Beginning 6/19/18 – The highly anticipated performance, Waitress takes the stage. Ride over on Molly the Trolley for the show at Bass Performance Hall. 

 

Safari Express is the only way to beat the traffic at the Fort Worth Zoo. The bus leaves downtown and heads straight to the zoo, every 30 minutes on Saturdays all summer long. The kids will love the ride and you’ll love leaving the car at home!

 

Staycation Idea:  Round up the family and head over to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Your trip from Fort Worth begins on the TRE to Union Station. At Union Station, make a quick transfer to DART bus route 60.
